بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٥٥ في عهد البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد وكرّسها المطران سمعان عوّاد اسقف صيدا. هي اولى الكنائس المارونيّة التي بنيت في منطقة شرقيّ صيدا وساحل جزّين. تتميّز بهندستها البسيطة وبالنقوش على أعتاب أبوابها المنخفضة. خُرّبت إبّان الحرب الأهليّة وأعيد ترميمها في تسعينات القرن العشرين.The church was built in 1755 during the pontificate of Patriarch Jacob Awad and was consecrated by Sidon’s bishop Simon Awad. It is the first maronite church in the vicinity of Sidon. The architecture is simple and doted with symbolic arabesque over the small narrow doors. During the civil war it was heavily damaged and restored during the nineties.

سنة ١٧٦٧ بنى المطران مخايل بن الشيخ ابا نادر الخازن ديرًا على اسم سيّدة المعونات في محلّة رام بو دقن، ليصبح مقرًّا لإقامته. بعد وفاته تحوّل الدّير إلى وقفيّة ذريّة لمشايخ آل الخازن. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة، سقفها مزيّن بالنقوش على الجصّ. لوحات الكنيسة من عمل الخوري موسى ديب الدلبتاوي.

The monastery of Our Lady of Perpetual help Ram Bou Daqn - Sheile

The monastery was built in 1767 by bishop Michael son of Sheikh Aba Nader el Khazen, in Ram Bou Daqn to become his episcopal residence. After his death the monastery became a private domain for the Khazen family. The church consists of a crossed vault ending in a semi circular apse with a ceiling covered with arabesque. The church holds paintings by Fr Moussa Dib from Dlebta.

هي كنيسةٌ مُزدوجةٌ تعود لأواخر القرون الوسطى مبنيّة على ضفاف نهر الجوز. مذبحها الأوّل مُكرّس للسيّدة (والمُرجّح أنّه الأقدم) والثاني لمار أنطونيوس الكبير. هي كنيسة مزار ومحجّ لأبناء المنطقة.

A double late medieval church built on the banks of Al Jawz river. Her first altar is consecrated to the Madonna (and is presumed to be the older part) and the second for St Anthony the great. The church is a local shrine and a pilgrimage site

بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى شرفيّ البلدة أواخر القرن الثامن عشر. أعاد الأهالي بناء الكنيسة سنة ١٨٨٣ في موقعها الحاليّ. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب ينتهي بحنية نصف دائرية. رمّمت الكنيسة أواخر القرن العشرين.

The Church of the Holy Martyrs, Disciples of St. Maroun - Mazraat Yashou’

The first church was built at the end of the XVIII century east of the village. The villagers rebuilt it in its current location in 1883. The structure is a cross-vault with a semi-circular apse. The church was restored during the nineties.
